As such, FALCON is open to any non-tenured faculty teaching in higher education both nationally and internationally. Beginning in 2019, FACET has collaborated with the AAC&U’s initiativeto present the conference.

This year’s theme, “Teaching with Purpose: Supporting Learners in a Changing World,” continues our tradition of bringing educators together for growth and reflection.

Theis now available!This year’s program features a keynote address,Purposeful Teaching in an Uncertain Age, byLaura Cruz, Research Professor at Penn State’s Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence. Dr. Cruz will explore how educators and students can cultivate a shared sense of purpose. Drawing on psychological and philosophical models of futures-thinking, she’ll offer strategies that connect our present teaching with the possibilities of tomorrow.
