DeCarlo, Jr. &#8217;77\u00a0<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Dr. Anthony J. DeCarlo is the co-founder and co-owner of Red Bank Veterinary Hospital, one of the country&#8217;s premier privately-owned veterinary hospitals, located in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.\u00a0 The hospital was founded, along with Dr. Thomas Trotter, in 1986, on three principles that remain the guiding philosophy today:\u00a0 provide the best veterinary medicine and customer service, do what is in the best interest of the patient and client, and give employees the tools they need to excel in their work.\u00a0 His management practices and guiding philosophy enabled him to turn a two doctor practice into a unique and highly successful veterinary healthcare network of hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>Early in his career, Dr. DeCarlo was a pioneer in performing MRI&#8217;s in small animals.\u00a0 He believed in making 24-hour emergency care available to pet owners and later became instrumental in expanding the availability of specialty services. Today, he has assembled one of the most comprehensive groups of veterinary specialists available to pet owners in a single location.\u00a0 His vision, philosophy, and commitment to providing pet owners with medical options led to a further expansion of referral services to include 24-hour emergency and specialty care hospitals in Cherry Hill, Hillsborough and Linwood and a physical rehabilitation and medical boarding facility in Red Bank.<\/p>\n<p>The hospital is a proud supporter of many local charities which aim to improve the lives of both animals and children.\u00a0 Personally, Dr. DeCarlo is active in the veterinary community and serves as president of the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association and as a trustee for The Seeing Eye.\u00a0 He is a member of the Ronald McDonald Cancer Camp executive board and is also a proud volunteer and supporter of the Ronald McDonald Cancer Camp for Children and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Monmouth County.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. DeCarlo graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 1977 where he majored in Biology. He was also named as the company&#8217;s president and chief operating officer, and a member of the board of director s of PSEG, in October 2006. Prior, Mr. Izzo was president and chief operating officer of Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&amp;G).<\/p>\n<p>Since joining PSE&amp;G in 1992 Mr. Izzo was elected to several executive positions within PSEG&#8217;s family of companies, including PSE&amp;G senior vice president &#8211; utility operations, PSE&amp;G vice president &#8211; appliance service, PSEG vice president &#8211; corporate planning, Energis Incorporated senior vice president &#8211; finance and information services, and PSE&amp;G vice president &#8211; electric ventures.\u00a0 In these capacities, he broadened his experience in the areas of general management, strategic planning and finance.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Izzo is a well-known leader within the utility industry, as well as the public policy arena.\u00a0 His public policy experience includes service as an American Physical Society Congressional Science Fellow, in the office of U.S. Senator Bill Bradley.\u00a0 He also served four years as a senior policy advisor in the Office of New Jersey Governor Thomas H. Kean, specializing in energy, science and technology.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Izzo&#8217;s career began as a research scientist at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, performing numerical<br \/>\nsimulations of fusion energy experiments.\u00a0 He has published or presented over 35 papers on magnetohydrodynamic modeling. Mr. Izzo received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in mechanical engineering and his Doctor of Philosophy degree in applied physics from Columbia University.\u00a0 He also received a Master of Business Administration degree, with a concentration in finance from the Rutgers Graduate School of Management. He is listed in numerous editions of Who&#8217;s Who and has been the recipient of national fellowships and awards.\u00a0 Mr. Izzo has received Honorary Degrees from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (Doctor of Science) and Thomas A. Gary\u00a0<\/strong>directs finance &amp; accounting, including project budgeting and financial analysis, procurement, facilities, human resources and security for the Information Technology (I.T.) organization of the world&#8217;s largest package delivery company and global leader in logistics.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Kallenbach began his UPS career in 1977 as a part-time unloader while attending college in Eau Claire, WI, where he received his degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin. He also worked as a driver before moving into management as an accounting supervisor in Milwaukee, WI and later served as accounting manager and controller in Chicago, IL and Long Island, NY.<\/p>\n<p>In 1995, Mr. Kallenbach was named Midwest Region Controller in Columbus, OH. He joined Information Services in 1998 and assumed his current position as Vice President, Information Services. He oversees an I.T. workforce of 4,500 employees as well as procurement management of all hardware, software, telecommunications, consulting and outsourcing for UPS&#8217;s two data centers and five support locations. UPS uses one of the world&#8217;s most sophisticated digital information systems to deliver more than 15.1 million packages and documents each day.<\/p>\n<p>An active member of the Board of Governors of Ramapo College of New Jersey, Mr. Kallenbach is proud of UPS&#8217;s relationship with the college. Through active participation in the college&#8217;s Business Partnership Program, UPS offers its expertise in the areas of transportation, technology and supply chain logistics. As a company at the forefront of community involvement and higher education, UPS proudly supports Ramapo College&#8217;s internship and cooperative education programs. Over the years, UPS I.S. has utilized Ramapo College as a resource for co-op students, many of whom have become full-time UPS employees.<\/p>\n<p>UPS is a global leader in logistics, offering a broad range of solutions including the transportation of packages and freight; the facilitation of international trade, and the deployment of advanced technology to more efficiently manage the world of business. Romanelli-the only woman running one of the major U.S. auto shows-is responsible for the overall planning, day-to-day operation, promoton and production of the exhibition, which attracts more than 1 million visitors annually.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to her Show responsibilities, Romanelli also serves as Vice President for GNYADA, the organization that owns and operates the Auto Show, as well as Vice President for GNYADA&#8217;s Center for Automotive Education &amp; Training, a facility built specifically for training of dealership personnel and technicians.<\/p>\n<p>With a background in television promotion and advertising, Romanelli has made numerous appearances on local and national programs, and is a natural in front of the camera. She has appeared on CNN, ABC News, Fox News Channel, MSNBC, WABC, and WNBC as an authority on various topics in the automotive industry.<\/p>\n<p>Romanelli earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing\/business administration from Ramapo College in Mahwah, NJ. She is past president of the N.Y. Tri-State Chapter of the Women&#8217;s \u00a0\u00a0Automotive Association International, is a member of the International Motor Press Association, the International Association for Exhibition Managers, the American Society for Association Executives, and the National Association for Consumer Shows. \u00a0\u00a0She also sits on two boards, the East Side House Settlement, a social services agency located in the South Bronx, and the LeMay Classic Car Museum located in Tacoma, WA.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2011 Distinguished Citizens Honorees Dr. Anthony J.
